Our Staff

At the age of six, I was reached through the bus ministry of Riverview Baptist Church. Each week a faithful bus captain visited our home, and faithful Sunday School teachers taught the Bible plan of salvation. The Holy Spirit began to bring conviction and I received Christ as my personal Savior.

Soon thereafter my parents and siblings accepted Christ and our home was transformed. My siblings and I began attending the Christian school, our family became active in the bus ministry and I was introduced to a thriving youth ministry.

Upon graduation I attended Maranatha Baptist Bible College. It was there the Lord brought Dawn into my life. She is my completer, co-laborer and constant companion. The Lord has been so very good to us and it is our joy to serve Him.

After college, I served as a youth pastor and coached high school football and basketball. We served for five wonderful years at Faith Baptist Church in Milwaukee Wisconsin. It was there the Lord led us to Missoula. God completed our family with three sons: Dylan, Nathan and Ben. God has blessed our ministry. When we moved to Missoula it was the three of us (Jesus, Dawn and I); now we have the privilege of serving Him alongside a wonderful church family. The Lord has blessed us with a church property overlooking the city.

In his free time, Pastor Lemmons enjoys hunting, golf, time with Dawn and their children and families.

Pastor Tom Lemmons

Senior Pastor

Following their wedding in May of a 1992, Pastor and Dawn moved to Milwaukee, WI to serve at Faith Baptist Church of Greater Milwaukee. They both taught in the Christian school, ran a bus route and oversaw the C Sunday school. Tom also served as the athletic director and basketball coach. It was at the church's missions conference that God began working on Pastor Lemmons' heart for the city of Missoula.

In 1997, Tom & Dawn arrived in Missoula with the goals of spreading the good news of salvation and establishing Lighthouse Baptist Church. Their family started to grow in 1999 with the arrival of their first of three sons. Their oldest son, Dylan and his wife, Julie are faithful members of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Missoula, MT. Their second born, Nathan, is currently serving in the United States Army, and their youngest son, Ben and his wife Abby serve in the United States Air Force. Tom & Dawn enjoy traveling, dinner dates and time with their family.

God has richly blessed their family and the work at LBC. It is their honor to serve alongside the faithful people of Lighthouse Baptist Church.
